homein.com now has real estate in Russia, China, New Zealand and Panama live online at homein.com
These 4 countries were requested by real estate agents who have properties in those countries and already have their XML feeds connected to homein.com so some properties came online live in the new countries immediately.
Paul Lupson says “Now we have those countries online we will be excited to watch them fill out with hundreds and thousands of properties over the coming months as more real estate agents listing properties in those countries see we now have them live and will now I’m sure send us their XML property feed to integrate into homein, afterall it’s free-to-list on homein so there’s nothing for an estate agent to lose by listing their property on homein.com”
Lupson continued “I will watch with special interest the speed that real estate in Russia comes online as I hear there is amazing growth in internet access and usage lately in Russia.”

homein was just celebrating breaking the 500,000 properties online milestone when, after integrating yet more real estate agents XML feeds as done on a daily basis, the 600,000 property milestone was reached and surpassed with ease just a few days later.

A new look homein.com went live recently and has been receiving very good feedback from agents and users alike (thanks to you all).
Starting at the branding the previous 3D green house logo has been replaced by a simpler ‘more web 2.0′ era blue house icon more clearly separating the ‘home’ from the ‘in’ also.
Thin grey lined boxes were created and all content logically repositioned into these boxes, giving the site it’s cleaner more structured look, making content easier to find.
Launched also were the Newly added’ and ‘Similar properties’ boxes in the right column, these show users properties similar to the one they are currently viewing and has helped increase the number of pages viewed by each visitor, also reducing bounce rate on the website.

500% ad revenue increase
The cleaner look and feel and more structured web architectuure has had a dramatic effect on ad revenue also, with a 500% increase in income, mainly due to the more prominent positioning and better integration into the real estate content of the display advertising. Refreshing the homein web design really has given the real estate search portal a boost in performance and demonstrates that killer user interface design is the make or break in a successful website these days, more than ever.

The launch of homein.com’s United States of America real estate section attracted the attention of Property Portal Watch writer Gordana Davila, with her posting an article about us on the popular industry website.
