The homepage property map and real estate search filters go into the new page format

For a while we at homein.com real estate search have been using the new page layout, large map on left side, property search filters horizontally on the top of the page.  Today we changed the homepage to go to this layout aswell in order to standardise the layout of the site and also to improve usability.  Have a look on the homein.com real estate search homepage to see the change.

An update to the business model of homein.com means that all real estate agents are able to advertise unlimited properties on homein.com, the real estate search by map portal.

Real estate agents with an XML feed and those using many other property listing software systems can quickly and easily be integrated to join the hundreds of other real estate agents already publishing their portfolio of properties on homein.com location specific websites.
homein.com is compatible with the very popular Rightmove and Globrix formats, if your estate agency is using one of these formats you can be online at homein.com right now.

homein expands to London and teams up with real estate software companies.

homein has expanded to  London, check it out on http://www.homein.com/uk/london/ . Real estate agents are offered a free trial month and for the first 3 agents that have more than 50 properties an extended trial period will be offered, for more information contact paul.lupson@homein.com .

If you already have a rightmove and globrix xml feed then hey, very good news! Those are  xml feed formats that we support, just sign up and indicate what feed format you use.

The Alexa ranking of homein.com has had its biggest rise in a one month period ever. homein.com real estate search site is now hovering on the edge of 500,000 – todays Alexa ranking is 502,494 to be precise.

The constant daily improvements to the homein sites, the additional destinations going online each week and the strategic alliances between homein and other traffic providers and real estate agent software systems providers helps to maintain attention on homein and therefore help increase the ranking.

A couple of weeks ago we added Google streetview to our property ads in the destinations where Google streetview is available. Check out the Google streetview in Barcelona for example. Good job Victor!

homein.com developments continue, rentals now available priced per week or per month, as used in Australian property market.

On the advice of our friends in real estate agency CBRE Australia, we now display rental properties priced per week or per month, depending on the real estate agents preference. Sydney real estate will soon be appearing on homein.com/australia/sydney keep an eye out.

Describing the size of a property in square metres or square feet now possible.

Until today it’s only be possible for real estate agents to create a proeprty description using square metres, however in the USA and the UK square feet are still used to measure the size of a property for sale or rent. Preparing for rolling homein.com real estate search out into more destinations it is now possible for client estate agents to choose to describe a proeprty in square metres or feet.
